Howdy all. I'm sure ya'll will be glad to hear that my daily blog is coming to an end soon.....but not before I brag about what a perfect day we had today. None of us were happy to have our fun week at the Valle Cruces Overlook end, but we manned up and hopped in our cars at 6:30 am to head home (by way of detour). Eric and Tanna drove down to Georgia to visit his Uncle John. Kevin and I ...
... 4 lane divided highways with a speed limit of 70 mph, the drive is still quite pleasant. West Virginia calls itself the mountain state and 80% is forest which was quite evident as we drove along the highway. The colour in the trees was glorious and very hard to capture with a still photo.

The rural areas reflects prosperous living and the city of Columbus is so neat. Clean, tidy and easy to get around. Arena area would be so neat on a game night and the cities current development work on the riverfront show their progressive thoughts.
Unfortunately no home football game on whilst there as wanted to see the renown Ohio State University Band. Saw them on TV and put on an amazing show.
We spent our first night at the Holiday Inn Express in Belle Vernon, across from Hoss's.
We started the next day with an early morning breakfast at Eat'nPark with our PA friends. After breakfast, we went to see my Dad and grand parents' graves, and then we hit the road.
For the first part of our trip, we took the back roads through Mt Pleasant, Donegal, and more. At Breezewood we got on to the turnpike for the rest of the ride.
