... area. "Surely this can't be it?" I said. Jake and I exchanged worried glances. There had been no available Internet (so no way of getting an Uber) and there obviously wasn't any there, either. Nor was there a restroom, ticket office, anything. It was literally a shelter in the middle of a desert. We stepped off the bus and our breaths were stolen by the heat: it felt like the hottest place we've been to. Well, we were in the desert. Panicking slightly, we ...

Thankfully I had the good sense to remove my Calvin Klein wedges - free from San Francisco. (Well I had to buy some Michael Kors sandals but the Calvin Kleins were free.). ... museum as well.

The automobile museum was a great way to end our museum tour of San Diego. I took pictures of every car and motorcycle and they literally kicked me out of there. Another must see in San Diego. Check out some of these beautiful cars.

... Carlsbad.  We also had to get some ant traps, as the little tiny things started to invade us...Gone now, traps must have worked. That evening, girls night out (Chris and I) went to a nice seaside restaurant for some girl time and an awesome sunset.  Prime Rib was spectacular after all the sandwiches we have had on the trip.  I really enjoyed the evening.  Nice to get out with friends. Tuesday we ...
