... and we spent a good 4 hours wandering around the park, this included a safari bus around the 7.3 kmē parkland.
Highlight of the day was watching the cheetah run. The cat walks out with his buddy, a golden lab, who chases the hare first, just to remind the watching cat what to do. The cheetah then takes its turn, quite amazing to see a cheetah's speed so close.

The tour continued to the upper deck where they had real pilots who worked on the ship and explained how they had to take off and land the planes. They also had men who worked in the engine room and anchor quarters show us how everything worked. It was fascinating. This is a must see for anyone visiting San Diego. ...
... Usually there are at least a few balls hit foul along the third base line. And usually the third base coach or a security person will throw the ball into the crowd. In fact, we were seated right next to the guy who would retrieve the ball. Also, we brought our gloves and could reach out and grab a grounder. In this game, however, nary a ball was hit foul along the third base line. So did we get to take a game ball home? No, we did not.
... our Fast Passes, as the line was so, so, so long and there were no more Fast Passes available. Great ride, again, and we won the race again – hurray! We feel sorry for some of these families with little ones who don't get in the park early to get the Fast Passes and have to wait in that long line with their children. But the rule at Disney is, the early bird gets the worm, or the Fast Pass in this case.
