There’s been a really cold spell here and we’re bundling up against the chill winds. The surrounding mountains are all getting more snow on the top, and the air is clean and fresh. Life would be beautiful to stay here in summer and Italy in winter, but I don’t know if that will be possible for me since it’s really difficult to get the right permits.
The lead-up to this trip has gone more smoothly, but I had a difficult time booking my flights because of the various hostilities and closed borders in this part of the world. I ended up getting a round-trip flight from JFK to Yerevan, Armenia via Vienna where I am at the moment.
