... clock tower is a beautiful site. After exploring and learning about the fortress we walked back down then through the tunnel. The history of this place truly blew us away. We stopped at a cafe for some drinks and people watching before freshening up at the hotel. The white Stallions were having their summer break at the moment so we couldnt watch them but we watched a show called Piber meets Vienna which is basically the foals being introduced to the arena etc. So I was very excited to see this.

First, several horses came out with pulling carriages, ...

... throw a few things away, but there is nothing I want to part with at the moment. At least we have 30kg each to go home with, so I'm thinking a bit of shopping might be in order after we return to England from Norway :)

We had a quiet morning and David is loving the opportunity of watching the British open in St Andrews on the TV. He is still hopeful to get a game at St Andrews, but not sure of his chances. I think it ...
