    ... too cold where every body part hurt so we called it quits early. We found out that Heavenly closed early too because of the conditions. Our plan was to take Jalen to see fireworks at Heavenly village on NYE but we cut the trip short and left NYE because of the horrible weather. It is way to cold, highs of 18.     ... a short stop in Reno. Brings us to Zephyr Cove on the shores of Lake Tahoe. We went mountain biking today, along the flume trail. It was 35 km and a lot of yucky uphill, but then came the awesome downhill, so much fun. I only fell off once into a bush.     It was extremely sad to leave all my friends who have become my family in Tahoe. But it is great to know that they will hopefully still be there when I return.
