Today was an "OMG!" day. We first went to a picturesque village called Ucagiz where we rented kayaks. Then we kayaked out of the harbor along the coast through some islands to another small town. The water was warm and the most perfect color of blue that we've seen - truly aquamarine. Large turtles would raise up their heads as we kayaked past them and then dive down again. ... boat stopped in 4 different locations throughout the day to give passengers the opportunity to go for a swim in the inviting turquoise sea. For the first couple of stops I took the more conservative method of getting into the water, taking the gangway ramp to tread in trepidation into the cool water. ... on some loungers on the beach and headed straight to the clear, cool and inviting sea for a swim. My dad and I are relatively strong swimmers so decided to swim out to a solitary rock that appeared to emerge from the sea about 200m out from the beach, like a centrepiece in the bay. Today was my last day in Koycegiz. I didn't cycle and made a calm day instead. I had a allergies in the morning and had to take a pill which made me sleepy... Anyway, I went downtown to have lunch and buy some last things. Then I came back to the Hotel to pack and update the blog. At the end of the afternoon I visited Merih and his family to say goodbye. Tomorrow I will take the airplane to Tel-Aviv.
