Never changed the alarm clock and woke up early for a breakfast. Then Coach Crawl to go through all the different units. We had a group shot photo. Then for a Soup Supper catered. ... to dinner, Mary and I did a little touring of Venice, a city with a history dating back to the late 1800's, the downtown area is well planned and neat with the main street full of interesting shops and a lot of foot traffic. We took a short, cool windy walk on the beach. A surprising number of faithful beachgoers were bundled up and sitting on the beach. Where is the Florida weather?
... It was just so, so incredible. A private little dolphin show just for us. Husb estimated there were 10-15 dolphins in groups of four to five. They went on in this jumping and swimming routine for about a half hour, eventually moving further down the beach. My day was made, but Gordon never saw a single one as he contentedly soaked up the sunshine on his beach towel.

It's busiest here in the summer and spring, when school is out. In the winter, most of our visitors are retirees from up North (like where you're from!). They call themselves Snowbirds, because they head South for the winter just like birds.
Santa Rosa Beach was originally named Hogtown Bayou. That doesn't sound nearly as nice, does it?
