... came too… so it was great fun to have the family around.

They make their own Root Beer and Ginger Ale which I enjoyed before dinner along with a great guacamole dip Mark had made. ... and Jim spent several 2-3 hour sessions out with the 22’s… we found a nice spot on forest service land and shot several hundred rounds… actually Gabe did the shooting and Jim did the spotting with the binoculars… we found that the Henry Lever Action 22 wouldn’t come in on the target and upon inspection we found that the installer of the scope allowed the front lens housing touch the barrel of the gun… thus putting ...

... We were amazed at how many people stopped to look at the eagles once we showed them where they were..... we had 2 adults and 2 chicks in the nest... at any one time we'd have all 4 birds... both adults and both chicks.... then one or both of the adults would fly off to hunt and leave the chicks....

We were surprised how big the chicks were, they are the same size as their adult parents when they hatch ... and wondered why they hadn't ...
