    Yesterday saw us headed to Montebello and our hotel is known as the largest log cabin so am looking forward to seeing it. Sure hope my room is bigger than the postage stamp I was staying in here in Ottawa. Ottawa is a beautiful city split down the  middle by a canal that runs for 202 miles.     We left Mountain this morning and went to see some real Canadian history. Downtown Ottawa was a zoo of construction, RCMP cars and bikes, limo's for the important VIP'S and even a marching demonstration against CETA, ( protesting against Exon, Monsanto, etc). It wa also lunchtime, with lots of delicious smelling food trucks lining the street just to make it even more crowded. We managed to find parking and walked ...

    ... with their summer coats, and the bison were few and far between. The giant moose was out and about, as were the coyotes, but the icing on the cake came with the bears!

    The park radio says that they have 9 at the park... Odd, we saw 15. There were so many cubs! They are so so cute! even the gigantic ones, look so cuddly! Especially when they are walking around grazing on grass. As if those big black things would hurt ...
