In and out of spotty cell coverage, I was able to find a campground that wasn't too far off the main road (90W) outside of Butte, Montana. I passed on one place that listed their rules on the website, and the rules included: No liquor in playground, only in campsite. No sleeping in restrooms. ... only a skiff of snow, but enough to make skiing on the road doable. The campground trail was very good too. The sun finally came out and created another round of photo-ops. I got in another couple of miles skiing and am really enjoying it. The practice-affect is taking over, making it more pleasurable to cruise along over the great snow.

... br> When everyone had left, on Sunday, it got mighty quiet at the place. Lynn and I had a chance to hike a bit on the Lodgepole Trail. The Indian Paint Brush and Bear Grass were out in force. I captured a few for your viewing pleasure.

Today is the first day of our run to Nebraska, for our Granddaughter's (Justine's) wedding. The views would have been great, except for all of the fires; there was so much smoke that you could not see the mountains. You can see by the flags the wind was blowing pretty hard too.
