Lynn got her this afternoon and will stay until Monday, when we'll have "winterized" the house before we head back to Helena. We hope to get back up here in October, during the Quiet Time and more later on.

My latest photos will be on flickr when I get them editted. That is at >> flicker.com/photos/ralphieboyo if you don't remember.

During the years living in China, I had several layovers in Japan. I remember the first 12 hour one quite clearly; the vending machine in the hotel had excellent fried rice, the hotel bathroom mirror left a perfect rectangle clear of steam after even a long shower, and the internet speed was amazing. (Hmm, very materialistic, true.)

We explored the art exhibits and other shops in the Old City Hall. Jean wanted to visit Amy's Cakery & Bakery for some desert for our dinner tonight. We walked over to the bakery through the little park which had a train car, and rail equipment ...

The tour took more than two hours. It was now 3:30, and we decided to not go to the movie, but go tomorrow. We returned to the condo. We had our leftovers from last night on the deck, and I had my blueberry pie for dessert. At 7:00 we watched the fantasy movie Stardust (2007). I had seen it before, but Jean says she never saw it.

The sundown was during a time of heavy smoke so it was hard to see. The forecast for tomorrow was sunny with ...

... Tracy and Kathy stopped by to wish a Happy Father's Day. We had a great visit with them.

Today we'll head back to Helena to get ready for a busy week. The lawn calls as well as a few medical appointments. On Thursday we'll take The Pearl to Great Falls for a bit more warranty work.

It's good to be home and it's not...you can figure that out, I'm sure.

        Thanks for stopping by.
