Had a great rest in the quietude and slept well. Unfortunately I had to don pants for the first time since last winter on our trip to Arizona to meet up with Lisa and Rich at the Grand Canyon. For shame...

... While he was gone a fierce thunderstorm battered the rig. Bless his heart, he drove back to the park through sheets of cold, driving rain. We put away wet food and were thankful that our rig weighed close to 30,000 pounds and wouldn't blow over! We were on our way the next morning in cooler temperatures and sunny skies.

... only a skiff of snow, but enough to make skiing on the road doable. The campground trail was very good too. The sun finally came out and created another round of photo-ops. I got in another couple of miles skiing and am really enjoying it. The practice-affect is taking over, making it more pleasurable to cruise along over the great snow.

I took Lisa and Rich on a "high altitude" bike ride and we all learned something. I that it's great to ride with someone. Lisa and Rich that there's not much O2 up there.
