    Awesome rooms and fantastic service. The staff are all very friendly and the Hotel is very secure.

    We are in Cairo,Egypt. It was very hot even in the airport . We rented a jeep so we could get to our hotel. After we checked into our hotel, we went out to explore Cairo.     ... They were certainly a wonder. I could imagine generations of people working on one pyramid. We went for a short camel ride as you can see from the pics. These were very large camels and I thought I could never ride one for an hour and fifteen minutes they next day. The street vendors were terrible. I wanted to give them money to leave us alone. They were incredibly aggressive. Worst i have ever seen.

    Today we left Luxor early in the morning and took the plane to Cairo. The plane ride was only about an hour long. Just before landing the pilots got clearance to take a detour over the pyramids – so we flew over them! It was amazing (I really love all of our little plane sightseeing detours). It is astonishing how big the pyramids are, even from so far away.
