    Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

    ... going through each of the many bags that we had brought with us and finding everything, so that feels like progress. While we were doing that, Valerie got a call from the law firm where she was working doing consulting work before she left, and they want her to start as soon as possible because they basically can't seem to do without her. So that's great, she's going to be starting back at the law firm tomorrow and getting back in to the swing of that. ...

    ... home without injury or any significant altercations with thieves or police (both I have heard of from other travellers). I did get a bit of a cold during the last few days, but to my delight Peru is rather generous with 'prescription' medicine and I was able to get some over the counter pills to get me through the rest of the journey.

    We headed over to a restaurant called Twin Peaks. For those who don't know it but know what Hooter's is like then it is a bit like that. For those who don't know Hooter's, it's a restaurant where the waitresses that serve you don't wear very much!
