... All of the VISTAs were splitting up into different activities. Some wanted to go see the Braves game. Others the music festival. We decided to go salsa dancing! It was a blast. We got there for the lesson and learned how to do the basics. Then the band started to play and the floor turned into a bunch of swerving and swirling bodies. I have always loved salsa dancing and being there with wonderful people made it an awesome night.

However I did go to Freedom Hall instead and saw the 30 minute video summarizing his life and legacy and viewed all the exhibits. The entire area here is free.

Bonus day! The hotel is very American. It had such a wonderful bathroom that I took three showers today. The service though is pretty bad so I wouldn't recommend it. Barra da Tijuca is like an American suburb but with apartments. There is quite a bit of construction going on and row after row of similar looking high-rise apartment buildings. Today is my birthday and I could not be happier! I am done with exams and my Mom and I managed to move out of the dorm, pack my luggage for Oxford, pack boxes for home, and move my big belongings into a storage unit.
