... 500 gallons a day of water! Also, the rapid decrease in temperature. It went from 80 degrees in southern Oregon down to 60 in about an hour as we headed into California and the Redwoods.

Don runs a 150 acre prune & kiwi fruit farm north of Yuba city. Yes indeed we were out of here at 11:17. It took us two hours to get to Vacaville....love that bay area traffic. Not much new on I-5 northbound to Red Bluff. Arrived at Durango, love this RV Resort....Luigis delivers right to your RV spot. ...

... Redding. This is a wonderful unique foot bridge over the Sacramento at Turtle Bay Park. It is a functioning sun dial, telling the time one day a year - June 21, the Summer Solstice. This was one of the highlights of our trip.
Sunday morning we had an early start heading back to Danville and our real life.
