... great. I really liked the history of the company. We were also very impressed with the companies efforts towards reducing their carbon footprint. They have the largest private solar panel installation in the state.
We got to taste all of the current offerings and learn about their specific qualities.
We rode 207 miles today, but I would have rode another 207 to finally get to Chico and my favorite brewery.
... the next day, and we change to get ready for the softball game at 8pm. Apparently it’s really relaxed and they all drink out of their “red cups” whilst they play. Playing softball and drinking sounds like a disaster to me, but we decided to get involved. So we stopped at the liquor store on the way to the game and get some of our favourite “Lime-a-rita’s”.

... and is open to the public on the weekends. It was the social and political hub from 1868 to 1918. Unfortunately Friday isn’t part of the weekend, so we weren’t able to tour the inside. The neighbourhoods around the park have many large old homes in various styles from Victorian to Craftsman. In some ways it reminds me of the Queens Park area in New Westminster.

Finally left Oregon and entered Northern California. Drove along the coast thru the Redwoods National Park. Entered a trailhead off the side of the road and admired the massive trees for about an hour. The boys also enjoyed climbing some standing and fallen trees. ... had recommended this visit and we weren't disappointed. The trip took us up over yet another mountain range and into the Park. The Parks are really nice with log cabins, just like you see on tv, and lots of people camping among the trees.
