Yes indeed we were out of here at 11:17. It took us two hours to get to Vacaville....love that bay area traffic. Not much new on I-5 northbound to Red Bluff. Arrived at Durango, love this RV Resort....Luigis delivers right to your RV spot. ...

... judgement a bit on this RV park and the Redding/Red Bluff area since it was so oppressively hot at 106 degrees that we stayed in the A/C most of the day. Even the dogs didn't want to go out.

... Even though we had a few nights spent with old friends or family and were meeting new people along the way we would still have to eventually move on and say goodbye. We did a lot of thinking, talking and praying about whether we should keep going or head back home and work on what’s next for us. We made a few more changes to the route but by the end of the week the thought that resonated the most with us... was to be patient and keep moving on... so we did.

Our final day in Redwoods country was well spent in Jedediah Smith State Park, with a gentle stroll amongst the impressive redwood trees beside the beautiful Smith River, glissoning in the sunlight. The clear emerald green waters sparkled. After a pleasant walk through nature we sat down on a large rock beside the river bank to take in all its splendour whilst enjoying a picnic. ... the offer and kept walking. A few minutes passed and a older couple stops and asks if we would like a ride up the mountain. They looked friendly enough, like they would kidnap us or anything so we accept their offer. We sat on the tailgate of the truck, and then i swear i saw the lady take a picture of us…it was kind of weird but any who they were nice people. Once we go to the top of the mountain they dropped us off on the side of the road, and wished us the best of luck! ...
