Walking out of Paradise Pier, Mac and Josie quickly jumped in line for Goofy’s roller coaster. Meanwhile, Cheryl jumped over to Soarin’ to get some Fast Passes. Good, we’d be able to hit that by 1:30.

The vagaries of the notorious LA traffic almost scuppered our plans, though, as we got caught in a fairly substantial jam on CA91 so we arrived rather later than planned and missed out on one or two "fast pass" opportunities but, as it turned out, we didn't miss too much.

The boys didn't manage to guess where we were going until we were almost there despite numerous clues (what else is there ...

Today was our official Californian "local" Saturday experience. We had a lovely Breakfast with Sam and Rob and we all agreed to go for a afternoon on the beach with a BBQ and sunbath, then a walk along the pier.

We experienced our first juice bar here, Jamba Juice, very American and very healthy and actually very nice!

After a bit of a drive we spent the afternoon on Huntington Beach, just chatting, chilling and eating ...
