    ... wine in Temecula is expensive. Tastings run around $15 for six tastes on average, which is pretty steep. The wines were good, and the people were friendly, so it was still a pleasant experience.     ... we managed to end up wedged sideways between the side and Noah and Pa's boat, with about 6 or 7 other boats all wedged in to us, because they had nowhere else to go! One of the attendants had to come and untangle us! I weep thinking that this boy will be able to drive a car in a few years!

    Another early start for the Farrs today. The vagaries of the notorious LA traffic almost scuppered our plans, though, as we got caught in a fairly substantial jam on CA91 so we arrived rather later than planned and missed out on one or two "fast pass" opportunities but, as it turned out, we didn't miss too much.

    ... boy Tom would not put on sun cream and got extremely sunburnt. There were plenty of shena****ns, and threats to get us in the cold sea, but we managed to stay dry!
