Making good time today riding I-90. Going to leave it and take SR 14 the rest of the way to Sheridan (2 hrs) so we don't get in so early.
Made a lunch stop in Gillette at the local Perkins. Nice to have breakfast selections all day long!
June 24th Bill decided to clean and wash the trailer so when we get to the rally, our trailer will look presentable. All nice and clean and then came the rain and hail again. We stopped in Sturgis, pretty quiet this time of year, people are gearing up for winter. Finally, we saw Devils Tower shortly after entering Wyoming.
... So it's quite something that Wyoming continues to amaze us. There is just so much space out here - it kind of boggles the mind. The sheer scale of the place - 2.2 million acres of it Yellowstone, and that only a small corner - just sort of washes over you as you drive, hours on end, foot on the floor, going 80 or faster, because that's the speed limit. Today we wound down out of Yellowstone, over the Sylvan Pass through hazy blue canyons ...
