After Heathrow I had to stop and change flights in Miami and we were late, I was told to go to a desk...When I approached someone to ask where the location of said desk was, I quickly found out that the American approach in airports is a little more military than at Heathrow, 'excuse me' was halfway out of my mouth when an airport worker yelled at me to 'GET IN LINE', unfortunately since he hadn't listened it was the wrong queue and i was sent out of the queue...before being sent back ...

Once leaving Key Largo we passed through the Everglade area on our way to Miami. The 11 mile straight roadway and fences on both sides of the highway signified we were travelling through ‘gator country’. On the southern side of Miami, palm tree farms line the roadways but it doesn’t take long before the cityscape appears and we turn off to the Comfort Suites, our accommodation for the next few nights
