Fresno, California, United States vera_und_alexScott

Last night at San Simeon was surreal, and felt quite dangerous. Me and Paul were playing pool and this guy came over, covered in tattoos, smelt of booze and smoke, and he asked us a lot of questions about where we were going, when etc, and invited himself in the pool game. At first I thought he was gay and thought we were too or something, but when he pulled out this medical tub of weed and asked us to smell it we assumed he was ...

- der perfekte Ort dafür "The Cheesecake Factory". Gesagt - getan ...
Fresno, California, United States sewySat 29th Aug

Picked up the hire car at 9am sat morning from the worst hire company, the car wasn't clean, the tyre pressure was dodgy and they hadn't even filled the car with 'gas', So we had to find the other hire company in SF.

Fulled up and ready to head out on our road trip, first stop would be Yosemite park some 160 miles west. Some beautiful views all the way ...
California, United States smigglesmith... Marmots & a Coyote). Kings Canyon is Massive! It takes ages to drive around. We had to fill-up in a 1928 petrol pump; It was really interesting to see how it worked. At the Ranger Office we inquired about the trails and the kids picked up the young Ranger program. We did Meadow trail collecting sugar cones along the way and hoping to see ...
Dinuba, California, United States andrewkinsey... placed on the burger on the grill and all of the excess cheese that hangs over the burger becomes crispy. We knew this place was going to be small, but we weren't prepared for how small. First of all there was a line outside the door, we waited for about 1/2 hour until we went in for them to take our order, when we got to the front of the line we saw just how tiny this place was. No tables just a bar, (my bar on my island is bigger I think ...
Squaw Valley, California, United States lorhen71... I think that getting the Sport legitimized was more important at the time then the Constitutional issue, which I believe is wrong. I will get off my Soap-Box and put some travel info in log. My ride from Fresno was really cool for the most part and I was able to find a seldom used road that folloed a river from Fresno to the Highway, connecting to Madera, where I am now. Along the way, I ate grapes at almost all of the places that I stopped and asked permission. I think I ...
Madera, California, United States stevevall... had been to the hospital and at least at that moment thought he was still there, meaning the bus was going to have to wait at the hospital for him as it did for me years ago... Fortunately for everyone Tom just had a badly sprained ankle and had already made it back to the condos. Tomorrow is a rest day, and then it's out to Joshua Tree for some Rock Climbing with Kim The ride home was uneventful.
Mammoth Mountian, California, United States jbrrr510... We ate in Barstow, and continued on to Fresno. We pulled into our house just after midnight.

So, was our Southwest trip a worthy substitute for the New England trip we’d originally planned? Looking back on it, I’d have to say yes. There are some areas of astonishing beauty to observe. There is also some powerful reminders of culture, both Native American and European, that are worth visiting. But, above all, a Southwest trip reminds a ...
Fresno, California, United States mikvs... underlying chill in the air also said that Fall was just around the corner. We headed over to the airport to pick up our car. We had obtained a Dodge Stratus from Dollar Rent-a-Car for our trip. It wasn’t anything too fancy, but it had enough room for our suitcases and the other things we brought with us; like CDs, cameras, and food.

We drove back home and finished packing. Despite our good intentions to leave by 10:30 a.m., we didn’t leave until just after ...
