Had a reservation to stay with Dave & Julie in Jefferson, Maine at their home on Damariscota Lake. A wonderful couple and excellent hosts who have been Evergreen Members for about 7 years, and were so down to earth and comfortable to be with - like we'd known them for years. Coast of Maine to Freeport and Brunswick

Continued driving up Hwy 1 (the coast highway) today, just to view the beautiful coves and small towns of south of Maine. One cove starts to look like the next cove after about 100 mile, and it's a very slow drive through the many small communities, but beautiful and worth the drive.

The first stop of the day was L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine. Have to stop there. The purchases were small but very important. This is the introduction of Mo the Moose and Larry the Lobstuh to our travels. Mo and Larry were put in their appropriate place in the front window of the truck. So the next stop would be Red's Eats.
