Whew! We arrived in Richmond, ME, last night around 7pm. We visited the Niagara Falls, USA side, having traveled through Canada on Monday. The colors have gradually brightened and have increased in intensity as we've traveled northeast... On Tuesday, we arrived in Montgomery, Vermont for a dinner and an overnight visit with Larry's second cousin, Kim Quinn Smith and her husband, Tommy. Their country home is located in the heart of Vermont, complete with beautiful rolling ...

There is all sorts of different things to do at the fair. There are little kiosks everywhere selling all sorts ...

I have never felt more safe and secure as I was at the Great State of Maine Airshow as I have been at other events. As previously noted, there were adequate military and police ...

... a museum with informative exhibits of their Arctic explorations in the early 1900s.

The following day, we headed out again, this time for the state capitol of Augusta and a visit to the capitalist capital of the state: Freeport where LL Bean's flagship store is located. The LL Bean enterprise is one of the largest employers in the state. Freeport offers separate LL Bean stores for camping and outdoor adventures, retail clothing, home goods, and a ...
