So right now... We're just relaxing.. watching a "Sex and the City" marathon. To be honest, I've never watched the show before.. it's pretty good. I've heard of the show but never saw it before.... We've been watching it for hours so far.. all ...
We drove for most of the day. To be honest, we did have a late start with our adventure. We got off the cruise ship at around 9:30 am... boarded our shuttle bus and then got our car. We probably headed out on our road trip between 10:30 and 11 am.
We were planning to drive to Pensacola, Florida ...
... for where we were and also Pensacola. We figured the extra time to get to Pensacola was not worth it if it was going to rain - not beach weather.
Where did we end up? Marianna, Florida.... To be honest, I have never heard of this place. It seems nice for what we have seen of it.
We were tired so we did not go far from the hotel - Days Inn. There is a restaurant right across from the hotel so we just went there to eat - well, we had take-out.
I am finally headed west again. It was sad to leave my friends here in Florida.
We had a great 6 days together, thanks to Mother Nature, I extended my stay 3 more days. I can understand why people snow bird to Florida. Although much more humidity than I am used to, 80 degree days and mid 60s at night ...
