Smell the Broccoli
Drove around the outskirts of Yuma today and the Imperial Valley. This whole area is irrigated by the waters from the Colorado River. It's amazing what crops are grown here. You can actually smell the broccoli growing!! Lettuce, romaine and head; cauliflower and broccoli all growing along the side of the road. One hour in Mexico
... full of drugs...prescription drugs, that is. We walked around for about 45 minutes or so, then I left in slight disappointment. I really wanted to see all the cool skulls with flowers and whatnot. I eventually found a bottle that had a skeleton grim reaper thing in it, and settled for that as my Dia de los Muertos souvenir.
