US-40 is a nice route and somewhat scenic. For sure it slows you down so you can see the country side plus all the businesses along the way. We stopped at the Elkton Diner in Elkton, MD right on US-40 and had lunch. It was a pretty good lunch and huge portions. I had a pork sauerkraut ...
