After dinner last Friday night, Jeff & I took our wine out on the deck & I mentioned how much fun it would be to go visit our friends Patrick & Jackie Terrail in the south of France. I was enjoying seeing their photos on Facebook~ eating French foods, shopping at the beautiful outdoor markets & wished I was there with them. Every summer they are ...

... strange. And the mall was massive. Before going in we ate at Johnny rockets. We had a really lovely burger and it was a traditional American fast food style bar. It was cheesey and the chair hurt my back but it was ok. And walked around a pop art gallery were we got to make our own bottle of open art. It was fun! We then tasted it which was too awesome! We tried over 60 different drinks from across the globe! Awesome. We also got a free bottle of coke at the end of the day to take home. Wow. Good final ...

We arrived in Atlanta around 2pm and went directly to the CNN building and got lunch, Just about everyone was desperate for a salad as we have been overwhelmed by fried foods, heavy bbq type meats etc. The salad counter at the food court got hit hard. The owner was happy though.

A tour of the city was planned for the afternoon, but we got caught in ...

... Deliciousness! The Thomas family returned the deliciousness the next day, hosting all of us around at their house for BBQ. Before we left, Val and I wanted to stay for moral support for Jill's latest trip to see her oncologist, and a chance to see her move to a new protocol, here's to that! A wonderful weekend was had by all, and it was lovely to see some relaxation come to the family by the end of the weekend. Now it's back to Atlanta for our next steps.
