After a slightly delayed flight from an atrocious airport, I was very kindly picked up by my hosts in Chicago. The leafy suburb of Winnetka is actually 15-25 miles uptown (a source of marital dispute) and the my hosts are absolutely lovely, as are their 3 young, adorably rambunctious children.
