couldn’t go any further, because the wind was so strong, I was afraid I’d get
blown over on the wet rocks. When we
were done, we started making the hike back down. Although we had the falls to ourselves, we
saw quite a few people hiking up on our way down. A nice thing about camping at the park is you
can get an early start and avoid the crowds.
Today we did a mini road trip to Greenville in South Carolina. It took about 2 hours to drive to Greenville and I am glad we did it.

Well it is almost time for me to hop on a plane to Europe... that still sounds so bizarre to me. It still hasn't quite sunk in. Even though I am no longer juggling 7 classes with substantial course loads, and my brain has nothing to do except think about my trip and all the buildings I want to see (nerd). The parks and the falls are amazing. Lots of acreage and flowers everywhere being planted for something called S P R I N G ??? Where IS it?
This is a VERY Southern town with lots of monuments to the Civil War and lots of statues around town ...
