    ... where we picked out a canoe! A red headed guy who was seriously proud of being an Air Force vet (a young vet, and a linguist) drove us down the river and let us off. It was a beautiful sail. Not hard to row (at least where I was, in the back. Sonia may have had a harder time in the front) and not too hot. We saw ducks, birds, a heron and TURTLES!!!! GOD DANGED TURTLES. They were so cute.     ... a strongly worded voice message over WhatsApp in Irish telling John where to stick his Harvard Irish.... We watched The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, which Sonia and I had rented because John is just back from a few months in India, and it was light hearted enough to get away from the Irish debate.     ... I packed all my stuff and charged my electronics for a while after checking out. ~~~~~~~~~ I've been having such a good time in South Bend, I literally only wrote one sentence in two days.     We took the Mule out to the woods to find some good trees as recommended by Abby and set our hammock and bug net up ready for night time.
