Next stop...Diddy Riese! This was recommended by Kris that we met a few days ago. It's a place that does awesome ice cream sandwiches. You have about 20 types of freshly baked cookies to pick from and about 20 types of ice cream. Just pic your cookies for the outside and the ice cream for the middle..just $2!! I bought 6 more cookies to bring back and share around as we couldn't really take back the ice cream too!
... people that I've heard so much about over the years but had either never met or rarely met.
Tony brought a DVD down for us to watch that was one of is favourites...Tombstone! I'm not normally a big western movie fan, but this was really good and also mentioned about William S Hart which was the guy I mentioned in the previous blog.
It was almost midnight when we got to bed and we were asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillows!
Wednesday & thursday morning workout!
Rico came home around 11:30am. We left the house at 12:30pm and it took us 1,5 hours to get to six flags.
Rico & Gio have a season pass and they had this special offer that they can bring one guest for only 10$ per person !! Perfect!!
Parking is also free if you have a pass!
Roaring rapids-we got definitely wet ;-))

Too much for me. I stopped to watch some street performers who were amazing - hilarious and entertaining tumblers, dancers, etc. After a nice home cooked dinner, we crashed! Tomorrow it's a whale watching ...
We woke up to the sound of what we thought was the world ending but it was just the bin lorry emptying the 'trash cans' from the 'sidewalk'. We sort of drifted back to sleep and awoke again properly later. We met up with Dais's cousin and two of her friends for brunch. I had pancakes with blueberries because I'd been fancying that for ages now and Dais had some spicy, eggy Mexican thing that was a little bit yucky. From there we hit up Venice Beach. Half the day ...
