You can daily spend the better part of a day going on a couple of tours and going through the mine museum with a picnic the end. After dinner we got back in the car with the GPS set to take us to Sacramento. At this point in the trip both Angie and I felt a bit deflated as this would be the end of our tour of hwy 49 and it was now on to travelling on the interstates for the most part. We had such a wonderful time travelling down this remembrance of the past and developed a lot of wonderful memories....but...the trip wasn't over by any means and it was on to our next adventure! ...

... work, but also did rock wall climbing, zip-linning, and my all time favorite the high ropes! I loved the high ropes course. We were up in the trees about 30 ft and used harnesses to get around. There were tight ropes and swinging things. I felt like such a little kid and I was so proud of my abilities to climb around without need my harness.
