We caught a 10 seater open top jeep to see the stars homes! The best house belonged to Julia Roberts (she had her Oscar in the window). There were so many – The Beckham's, Christina Aquilia (she bought the Osbourne's house), Brittany ...
Placentia, California, United States andrewkinsey... coming towards us with pink and white Hawaiian garlands around their necks and people were handing out single carnations. About 10 men in kayaks went out to sea and one women and child. They then made a circle at sea and everyone at the shore threw their carnations in. We chatted to a lady on the beach and she explained that it was a funeral of a young man that worked in one of the local hotels. Afterwards we drove to Venice Beach and then back to ...
Placentia, California, United States andrewkinsey... fact. Kind of anti-climactic. I'm sure that a majority of the photos will still show up after the trip, however I will try and e-mail some photos to my flickr account (and blogger too) when I can get some internet. Apparently in Shanghai there is free wi-fi in our hotel room. Fancy! Here's those websites: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bentusher/ http://bentusher.blogspot.com/ And now, the itinerary: Day 01 USA - Beijing We start our vacation by ...
Placentia, California, United States teamollieShane says: Immigration in LA took me aside on our transit trip home, chucked me in a holding area akin to a jail, made me wait there for 2 hours while we missed our flight home to Melbourne, and then the stupid cow working there explained to me that they are on a mission, and it's her job to assess if I am worthy of entry, and that I am knocking on the doors of the US and she gets paid to assess me. I was also told I have a record (when I had my australian police ...

Placentia, California, United States shirlbell... views. The coast and sea were hard to see due to the fog/smoke and what we could see of the water there was nothing but seaweed afloat. After checking our map we discovered it would be backtracking to get back to the interstate so we decided to head for Big Sur for the night and continue the coast drive in the morning. If one is to do any of the coastal drive we recommend from Carmel By the Sea to Big Sur ...

Los Angeles, California, United States johnsinclairAfter about 28 hours from the wake-up call in Cairo to the front door in Hibiscusland, we made it home safe and stinky. Can you imagine what three weeks of cat hair on bamboo floors looks like? But, the cats were happy to see us and keep sitting on us every chance they get, as if to say "no more running off to Africa for three weeks!". No worries about that, unless we decide to take our South African ...
Placentia, California, United States teamollie... real live wrestling - I'm telling you, you could smell the sweat! ha ha. Al Snow was there (apparently he's famous ?) - so needless to say that was good hearty free entertainment with lots of muscles flying around for the day. Don't worry - got photos, and film footage of my own !! We checked out on the Sunday, and the previous night there were thunderstorms all night long (I didn't hear a thing - prob dreaming of the days events !). The hotel we ...
