      We started our day at the American Philosophical Society where they had an exhibit called, "Jefferson, Philadelphia and the Founding of a Nation". We were both blown away by the first piece in the exhibit. It was the original draft of the Declaration of Independence that Jefferson wrote and sent to Richard Henry Lee.       ... After that we went to see the liberty bell. The girls were disappointed that we could not climb on the roof of independence hall and find Ben Franklin's glasses but at least we got to see his first fire department, post office and bank. We ended the day by throwing a penny on Ben Franklin's grave which is a Philly tradition. We headed back to Poteat's and hung out watching Kirk Camerons "Monumental" and eating some good grilling.
