Like small towns across much of the United States, there were some abandoned houses and shuttered businesses, but given the pleasant winter climate, there were thriving mobile home parks, although they were now half empty as the winter season had wound down. Today we had breakfast here at the hotel...unremarkable and pretty basic and crowded. Then we were off exploring the Outlet Malls which are about 20 minutes out of town towards LA. Being a holiday it was busy but Wouter found 3 light long sleeve shirts at Izod and I found an exercise shirt there as well as a T Shirt at Chicos and a blouse at Ann Taylor. We really had it made back then and like most things, I didn't realize how much I appreciated those moments until they were gone.
