      ... We sat up there, almost in silence for a good 30 minutes before making our way down. At the bottom, an American breakfast was waiting for us. I made bacon and peanut butter sandwiches and had people try them. Everyone loved it! After breakfast we took 4x4 vehicles through the Namib desert and went on a walking tour with our guide.       And on and on and on it went....all week long! I'd need 20 pages to tell you all the stories I witnessed!!

      I set a goal 5 months ago to lose weight, get in shape, raise the money and do this ride. I feel very blessed about being able to take this time. Thank you to the many donors! Your contributions fund a "rolling miracle machine"! Ride 2 recovery provides our wounded soldiers with a measurable emotional lift!
