    Jim and I visited the Living Desert in Palm Desert. The attraction has a vast array of desert plant life, many birds - including birds of Australia where we were able to get up close and personal, animals of North and South America and of Africa.

    The sand dunes are a haven for off-road vehicles. The dunes were used to film parts of many Hollywood films, including Road to Morocco, Flight of the Phoenix, and Return of the Jedi. The area is part of the Algodones Dunes.

    ... with English (not Bubba Southern), but there was some joke about "The Monk" that got lost in translation. Shot 88 at Santa Rosa. Golf still has a long way to go, but it was really fun getting out. Santa Rosa golf is beautiful, not too difficult. Tonight, Celine made fish. She is a wonderful cook, and loves the preparation. Every night is wonderful food and a little bit of wine (we are getting older).

    ... Lulus is a sleek restaurant bar.....I had a great Marguerita and W had a Stella. After sharing a very yummy burger and salad we walked along the shopping area and stopped for a superb Ice Cream at the Marble Slab.. Back to the hotel for a hot tub session and now we are sitting on the balcony watching the stars and drinking California wine....it's a tough life �� Tomorrow it will be around 32C so not sure what we will do....guess it depends on when we wake ...
