Today we had breakfast here at the hotel...unremarkable and pretty basic and crowded. Then we were off exploring the Outlet Malls which are about 20 minutes out of town towards LA. Being a holiday it was busy but Wouter found 3 light long sleeve shirts at Izod and I found an exercise shirt there as well as a T Shirt at Chicos and a blouse at Ann Taylor. Along with smashing ants on my dashboard while driving, I came into a nasty sand/wind storm that was making semi's question whether they could stay on the road or not because no one was able to see even a car's length ahead of them. ... grounds so even though they sell over 90,000 tickets for each weekend it didn't seem crowded at all and I think because of that everyone is in such a good mood and a happy vibe was everywhere which is the exact opposite to Big Day Out which crams 30-40K people into much much smaller showgrounds. ... long trip are happy ones! Thelma advised me that she had a great time – especially so as she was concerned that, for medical reasons, we had doubts about being able to go on the vacation. Happily, it turned out to be a false alarm. She weighed herself this morning, and told me that she had only put on 1/2 lb - which is amazing considering that we eating 3 meals a day on board the ship!
