We only got the chance to stay in New York City for one night, but in the time I stayed at the Marriott, I was not disapointed...as usual with this chain. Check in was fast, and the concierge was extra helpful with calling to re confirm our airport shuttle . The room was quite large for a new york city hotel. AS well, fro being a block from Times Square, it was quiet in itself...the best of both worls, and great location to maximize our time!

Fantastic service and immaculate rooms! Amazing value for money. The front desk was so welcoming upon check in and introduced me to their concierge which if I needed help could organise tours and transport. The free buffet breakfast was just the cherry, on top of the icing on the cake. Would definitely stay there again!

Very handy location mid-town. Walking distance to Times Square, live shows and mid-town attractions. Well run and maintained establishment.

... It was at least 15 people sitting on toilets with their drawers around their ankles. I stood there for a while to observe. The camera guy would count down, take a few frames of photos, and then people would come in to make adjustments on some of the folks sitting on the john. I need to see if I can find out what that was because it was very curious. Since I'm not a jaded New Yorker I find these things amusing. You literally never know what is just ...

We were able to finish our journey at a beautiful restaurant in the Park called Tavern on the Green (also know locally as the Sheeps Barn) as it is near the Sheeps Meadow area of the Park. It is worth having a look at the history of this beautiful place on the following link. Stunning place for lunch and the day was warm and ...

We then caught another bus that took us through the upper West Side but couldn't get a seat on top so we had to sit downstairs inside. Quite disappointing as really could not tell what the tour guide was talking about in regards to specific locations and photographs through dirty windows. Up this end of town you will find the Lincoln Centre and New York Ballet and the Museum ...
