Nice hotel, rooms are somewhat small, but adequate. Breakfast typical Marriott fare. Best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the Mall of America. We walked across the street and were in the Mall parking lot. Literally. It's so close, you can just leave your car at the hotel, and not bother with parking at the mall.

      Why We Torture Ourselves Backpacking

... The only way to get there is by boat or plane. We’ll drive to Grand Portage, MN, about five hours from home, spend the night at the Grand Portage Casino and Lodge, and board the ferry first thing Saturday morning. After an eight hour ferry ride, we’ll debark at Rock Harbor, at the east end of the island, spend the night in the campground there, and board a water taxi to the very beginning of the Greenstone Ridge trail at Hidden Lake the ...

... with Andy and in terms of time differences, flight times etc. Minneapolis makes the most sense even if it is further East than would be ideal. Andy is waiting for us when we reach the baggage claim at Minneapolis airport. It is really good to see him. We have moved forward two hours and Andy six hours back so we are completely out of sync. Once we get to the hotel, everything is focussed ...

Some might wonder what one will do in the first weeks of summer before a huge trip. Youre in luck, because thats exactly what Ive done.

I went home for a week to celebrate my 21st birthday, it was a blast and two of my favorite people took me out that night. I hung out with family and friends and had lots of fun. Then i went up to North Dakota to hangout with my friends up north. I had some really great nights with many different people.

... We are all sisters and brothers in Christ and I am so grateful for the opportunity to meet my Mexican sisters and brothers and see and participate in how God is already working in and through them.

I am sure you are asking your self, “well, what can I do to support Colleen?” I have a few answers to your question.

I would like to invite you to pray for me and the 57 other young adults serving ...

... While Julie drives, I research bedbugs. Their bites are usually clustered together, often in a line (known as "breakfast, lunch, and dinner"). I don't seem to have that, but many of the itches are in spots I can’t see, and pulling up my shirt to have Julie check my back for a line of bites while simultaneously negotiating I-80 at 75 ...
