Great location. Loved the shuttle to the mall, but able to walk back and forth easily too. Clean. Two hot tubs and a pool. Decent breakfast.

Nice hotel, rooms are somewhat small, but adequate. Breakfast typical Marriott fare. Best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the Mall of America. We walked across the street and were in the Mall parking lot. Literally. It's so close, you can just leave your car at the hotel, and not bother with parking at the mall.

We were up at 5:45 a.m. (Tom an hour earlier) and finally got out the door at 8:00 a.m. There are always more last-minute things to do then we expect.

We drove to Merrillville, where we chatted for a bit with Linda's parents, who had already eaten their breakfast. They took off (heading to Rush Lake, MN) and Grandma H & Uncle Dan …

This is Basil's friend he had met while working at The White Barn Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine. We originally had planned to meet him for a beer and then head out for south Dakota. Raul's stories, 14 beers, 8 Jaeger shots and walleye fingers (state fish) later we decided to stay the night. It was a ...

Nick and Dick are busy putting up the railings of the porch that Dick built. The two of them will then do some minor work on the coach and on Thursday it will go in for some minor service work to get it ready for the Alaska trip. We want all in perfect working order to start with and what happens from there we have no control of if we are prepared. So prepared we will ...

... idea anyone in the airport knew me and carried on walking. When I heard it couple of more times I looked up and Tom Grevatt was stood there saying hello to me. One of the strangest thinngs ever. If we had arranged to meet at the airport we probably wouldn't have been able to find him (Not that I knew he was heading through anyway)

... pretty tired but still took an hour to fall to sleep. Should be interesting tomorrow. The MOA was pretty impressive in size and breadth of stores available. The amusement park in the middle was very impressive with a lot of rides that the kids could enjoy. You could definitely spend several days there and still not see all of the stores. Well worth the visit. Time to get some rest for the ride to Des Moines tomorrow.
