This morning we woke up at 6:30 and were sat outside of Franklin bbq by 8am. We weren't even near the front, instead about 40th in the queue, we took chairs and books and sat there for a few hours, the staff came out and chatted to us all and asked what we were going to order (or in our case, helped us decide) we also grabbed coffee from the coffee truck that was parked up and waited patiently, it was quite relaxing, everyone just sat there, some ...

Tomorrow, we will do some more geochaching associated with the event. We opted out of the competition phase of the event as it is kind of a flash mob cluster. We will do our own thing.

Weather has been great. Life is good!

... bird get-together (GTG) at a ice cream shop where we met other geocachers and recognized some from the one we attended last year. Got back to the campground in time to watch Elementary.

I am posting a picture of Sue's Sugar Gliders. They came out last night because we were up later than usual so I took the opportunity to share them with you.

... roping at a ranch. Just drove past and there they were.
Driving back towards Fort Worth the back way and keeping off the freeway to see the "real" West Texas. Sad to see so many small towns dying. Dicjin's was a town on the highway with a sherrifs office and a couple of other buildings. Things like the store were derelict. A lot of derelict buildings on the side of the highways.
