We weren't even near the front, instead about 40th in the queue, we took chairs and books and sat there for a few hours, the staff came out and chatted to us all and asked what we were going to order (or in our case, helped us decide) we also grabbed coffee from the coffee truck that was parked up and waited patiently, it was quite relaxing, everyone just sat there, some ...

Driving back towards Fort Worth the back way and keeping off the freeway to see the "real" West Texas. Sad to see so many small towns dying. Dicjin's was a town on the highway with a sherrifs office and a couple of other buildings. Things like the store were derelict. A lot of derelict buildings on the side of the highways.
