    ... way to Hilton Head Island for a two-night interlude between our Road Scholar programs.

    We arrived in Hilton Head about 2 PM, fairly starved. Checking Trip Advisor we made our way to the 843 Bistro where we ordered lunch. The service was excellent and John had what he thought was the best sandwich he'd ever eaten! My fish and chips were good ...

    Bet you thought I had forgotten about y'all! Never. We left for Edisto Beach yesterday arriving at what will be our home for a few weeks around four o'clock. Only one hour 45 minutes from Savannah, we stopped for supplies and lunch along the way. We had added to our car load, groceries, liquids as in beer, wine and soda pop, oh and yes water plus a few extra treats, after all next week we will celebrate St. Paddy's Day! ...

    consider an iconic symbol of the South.
    We walked through Savannah stopping at
    each square and taking a photo, a large percentage had fountains or a
    statue in the middle of them... so naturally they got a photo too. It
    was really nice just to walk through the streets and explore such a

    ... the kids line up to have ice cold water dumped on them. Again Kody surprised me and jumped into the water and held onto the wall waiting to get drenches with water.
