In six weeks joan and I will be leaving on a tour of the western United States. We expect to be gone for four to five months. The nice thing about Adams County is that the towns (called "boroughs") are close--just 6-10 kms apart. This makes it particularly appealing for town to town hiking all around the county.

... rather strange to be pointing out people just because of their beliefs and how they dress and do things. It interests me. I watch some of the Amish shows on tv and find it interesting that they are trying to keep their beliefs and lifestyle going amidst the "English" culture that is truly invading their space.
