... with homemade Salted Pecan Brittle; cornbread; yams; and cranberries. Bob vacuumed and watched football and is now putting together the ubiquitous green bean casserole. I'm lying down for a bit before Sally and Jim get here.

We miss each and every one of you! Thanks for all of the phone calls, cards, flowers, and check ins! It means so much to us to be able to remain connected to home during this long trip of ours!

... a taxi). Anyways, the club itself was small, as I said, and was full of really sweet waiters getting us anything we wanted to drink or eat. It wasn't pretentious or uncomfortable, which is impressive because Second City is famous for producing the likes of Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, and a lot of others that I'm sure Dad considers much more important than any of the above.

... has not had a White Castle burger, they are little burgers (the original sliders) on small buns. They have 5 little holes in them so the fry cook doesn't even have to flip them. They will rehydrate, dehydrated onions and put them on the bun with their special mustard sauce. I had about 3 burgers and Dave had about 6 of these little gems. They taste ok, but I’m told the BBQ pork sliders ...
