Good Morning, first day of travels on familiar roads uneventful , which is a good thing. Weather was beautiful, a little road construction between Bemidji and Grand Rapids , and again on the way into Proctor. The view of Lake Superior and Duluth was breath taking in clear blue sky's and a calm lake. Spent the Evening and night with Elysia, and will leave for Wilton, Wisconson in a few minutes. First, we change the name to Dandies. Then we celebrate their growth, their legacy. Grass is boring; dandies are beautiful.
So imagine my delight when I arrive at my trailhead in Jay Cooke State Park, only to find a Field of Dandies.

Pizza Luce is not new to anyone in the Cities, but it is a nice spot in Duluth: always good pizza, open late (I mean until 2am on a Monday!) and with an eclectic crowd. Good times. Sorry, no photos. Maybe next time.
