We finally arrived back to DLH at 8:30pm. WHAT a day! Although I am quite sore, I think partially from the concussion during the week and lack of exercise, and EXHAUSTED from wandering the streets of New York, I wouldn't hesitate, even for a moment, to plan another weekend getaway soon! So we've been trying to run away on a weekend adventure for about a month now. Of course I have been wide open in terms of planning and being able to go, however, my travel friends have been struggling to get shifts covered at work that would allow them to run away for a weekend! We have planned this trip and cancelled it 3 times now. Now, ironically, we are going and we didn't even plan on this weekend! Funny how things work out.

... Park. Connected with Gretchen (my friend from HS) and her husband Joe. They cooked one night and we did the next (at our campsite). All 4 of us took boat tour with ranger at Voyageur (39%) water. Had a wonderful campsite overlooking the lake.

No more timelines now, Red Toaster is just going as the wind blows ... tomorrow is upper penninsula Michigan.
