... He was really full of himself. I complimented him on his dancing and remarked he should be on TV. He got really pumped up after that comment. He wanted more compliments and asked me why he should be on TV. I told him, so we could turn the TV off! I could be pretty mean back then. Let the Adventure Begin
... so we relaxed quite a bit and had plenty of time to chill out. We had a great view of Manhattan from the terminal. An adventurous person might have taken the train over to NYC for an hour, but I don't think that would be worth risking a missed flight. Back to School

On the walk back home, Miia and Analea wanted to make sure to show us the butterfly garden at their town library, which, thanks to their enthusiasm, we found almost as exciting as they both did.
We had a little time to play back at their house, but we were all pretty tired, so found ourselves in bed not too long after.

The last day of a great adventure
... Park. They had a nice beach, a campground, and a 24 hole frisbee golf course. There were even some holes that went over the lake. I ended up losing my disc on hole 20 in the woods. When we got to Hoopeston, it turned out to have not a very pleasant feel. Shops were boarded up, we found the post office and some guy was yelling across the road. It just felt like it may once have been prosperous, but not any more. The old buildings (such as the post office) were grand-looking but nothing else in the town seemed to back that up.
