Today we crossed the Cumberland Gap and had a picnic lunch at the visitor center. We figure that walking on the trail is another adventure.

After leaving that area we encountered rain in Lexington, KY and drove through that until we reached Wooster, OH.

Glad to be home again. No more trips till 2013.

We drove for about 3 hours before arriving at the park entrance. It was a bit strange, since we left the tollway and headed right into the park. There was no entrance fee and there were houses all around. Both inside and outside the park.

We arrived home mid-afternoon. Wow, home looks better every trip!
