... existence. I included a picture so yall could partake. You're welcome. I couldn't get that smell off my mind. Maybe it was in the air outside as well. Everything was soaked and muddy. I haven't had to deal with taking down my tent in the rain. I've always been able to dry it before folding it away. As I took it down, it got completely soaked inside too. I just strapped it to the back rack on my bike ...

Here in Fort Madison, Iowa (my hometown) packing snacks for the trip. Costco visit (thanks Julie & Nevaeh) yielded enough granola bars and salted nut rolls to grow very tired of them forever. Along with 16 lbs of a homemade fruit & nut mix, and protein in the form of tuna, turkey jerky, and cheez-its. I give the cheez-its one ...

... Ag area and I'm sure lots of feed lots but haven't seen any yet. Drove 220 miles to get down south farther toward St. Louis (fly out on Sat.) Jim for job and me to ft. Lauderdale

Drove to a state campground next to the Mississippi-ugh pit toilets, no shower (we haven't showered in a couple of days) and overall yucky vibe. Found out about a city campground 12 miles north in Keithsburg, Illinois. Tired ...
