... see as many museums, churches and cathedrals as possible. A trip to Versailles, evening cruise on the Seine, obligatory Eiffel Tower photos and more are also on the list. And of course, eating! Crepes, croissants and maybe even escargots! I am very excited to be visiting this historic city and look forward to sharing my adventures.

... amazed that we have seen lightning and heard the thunder less than 5 seconds apart (meaning the lightning is within a mile of here, yet the endless string if airplane departures and arrivals has continued uninterrupted. This is incredible - I can't believe that anyone wants to fly so badly that they would takeoff in these conditions.

Tonight, we watched the movie "Gravity", and now are going to try to get some sleep. The forecast is for thundershowers tomorrow, and heavy rain on Wednesday. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as when Sean and I were here 3 years ago. ...
