On the way, we were supposed to be visiting The Whistle Stop Cafe, the famous one depicted in the film Fried Green Tomatoes. But due to poor waiting times ...

... centers like Perimeter Center. Atlanta’s skyline is impressive from a distance, but especially downtown most of the buildings look kind of plain and dated, many of which are among the least interesting looking tall buildings of any large city I’ve seen. Some of them are thoroughly ugly, as I’ve documented here with some photos. The newest office construction and fanciest buildings look now to be mostly in Buckhead in the northern part of the city.
