... as good the second day. The other guys slept in. Smokescreen, Mooch and I took the 9 am shuttle back to the trailhead at Winding Stair Gap, while Co-ed stayed in town. He planned on staying with another guy who recently opened a hostel for another two nights and slackpacking the next two days to help his feet recover a bit more. After the shoe guru's warning, the rest of us planned to take it easy and only go to the shelter 10 miles away. The day's hike was, in a word, ...

Yep even here there was a Ripley's Believe it or Not and a wax museum. The town is hopping with families on spring break and you could hear the cash registers clinging away. Craziness. Menu Item: Ham & Hash brown Omelet

Notes: Came with onions and 3 buttermilk pancakes also

Comments: It was good but not as good as I hoped. There wasn't enough substance to the omelet. The pancakes were just average.

Overall Impression: Below average omelet with average ...

... little something extra that you're always looking for in every meal. And what looks like a scoop of ice cream on the side (how glorious would that be) turns out to be enough butter to drive a Cadillac through a dog house.

Overall Impression: Most amazing pancakes I've ate in my entire life. Wish I lived closer so I could partake more.
