      Nothing like waiting until the last second to pack.  One night in NYC and two weeks in Australia.  In NYC we're going to head into the city to have dinner with a friend, then back to the hotel.  We're not leaving super early from JFK, but its early enough that it's going to be hard to get rest.  The expectation level for this trip has been interesting.  On my previous trips to Europe ...

      ... explored those buildings before heading down to the short row of food and clothes shops before heading back to the car.

      We went back on Monday when students were back in class. We got to explore the buildings where Ben had classes and check out the changes that had been made. We even ran into one of Ben's professors, who chatted with us for a bit.

      Other than that, it was a nice and restful visit. Onto Niagra Falls!

      ... even offered me a box to take the rest with me, but decided it wouldn't be too good after being on the road for a couple of hours. Went to Rolling Rock Speedway and had a chat to the only Australian driver Kerry Madsen and an American Chad Cavanagh - both really nice, so I was going for them. Kerry came 4th and poor old Chad was towards the back of the pack. A couple of big crashes but thankfully no injuries - well serious ones ...
