Hut 2... 3... 4... Visited West Point military academy for a look around. Probably not going there... But very cool looking around with the outstanding views and prestigious schedules. PJ

I really enjoyed the campus it is very compact and very peaceful by the Hudson River. Lots of stone buildings and signs saying go Army beat Navy. I need …

Had a great time with Paritosh, Prashanth and Parry's Google friend - Rohit. Went out to many places - Greenwhich village- which has beautiful buildings with red bricks covering the sides of the road. It is truly a different locality in between the mid town and down town. I said I wanted an amusing encounter, or a story to tell. And now I have one. Thankfully it isn't one about lost luggage, visa rejections or transportation not turning up.

Instead it is one about my arrival into Irvington. My host, Robin, is lovely. And Jasper the dog is too cute for words! I will take a picture of him soon for you to see. He is also a very good host, when I was unpacking he came up into my room to keep me company.

Surprisingly, only two of our 9 checked bags were overweight (and not by much!). The woman said she could check our bags all the way to NZ for us (hooray for not going through customs in Sydney!). ... She said. Finally after about 10 minutes of typing and tagging and printing, Mark and I were ...

... head "Friends" is all so real! I am so disappointed to learn that all this time I have believed in a fake "Friends". Anyway, because this is the 20 year anniversary of the start of the show, they actually have a pop-up Central Perk Coffee Shop in the city, but not here.

After we finish the tour, we go on back to one of Remy's recommended spots Rocco's Pasticceria which just sells Italian desserts....yum! This is definitely my kind of shop. We both ask if they can make ...
