        ... for about 70 miles advertising for "South of the Border". The ads were hilarious so we thought we should stop in at this store. When we got there it was a mini city. Everything from rides to an alligator exhibition. Too funny. We stopped in Roanoke Rapids for the night. No rain but overcast and humid. Had a late dinner then went to the hot tub for a bit. Not a hot tub, more like a warm tub. Staying at The RV Resorts @ Carolina Crossroads. Very new, but very nice for $30 ...

        Happy Mother's Day! We left our Emporia, VA Walmart camping spot about 8 AM. Arrived in Concord about 12:30, found our campsite and spent the remainder of the day setting up camp.         ... cannot complain. Some road signs that I saw along the leg of this trip..... "Let's meet for lunch! Yam right!" The bill boards are very entertaining. We had to stop in to this South of the Border Place. Could not imagine what kind of place would be able to afford so many billboards advertising their place.
