      T-minus 5 days

A travel blog entry by jordanavery on Jan 30, 2015

So 5 days until the long drive out west, and I'm finally getting excited about it. Not that I wasn't before, it's just that now that it's almost here, the excitement level is rising. I'm at home for the last time for a while and then I'll head back to Taylor for a last few days of hanging with the guys from my wing (floor of my dorm) (now being referred to as 3C from now on). I'm pumped to watch the Super Bowl and hang all day Monday and Tuesday. We (Max, Ryan, and I) will ...

The exhibits and activities contained a nice mix of mental and physical engagement that could draw the kids in like ...

... About half of the 2200 employees are Amish. The Jayco Company orientated with the brainstorm/dream of an Amish family in their barn. It is now in it's 3rd generation, Next stop was an Amish Cheese factory and we all did justice to the samples. This paid off for the store as we left with a cheese purchase. Stopped for lunch at an Amish ...

... still in the renovating process.  I expect it will take them at least another season to do some of the things they have planned.  Meanwhile, we leave tomorrow for our next state: Indiana.  We’ll be visiting a couple who live in our subdivision but have a summer home in Indiana.  Michigan has been great, but it’s time to start heading south.  Hopefully, Texas will be a bit cooler by the time we ...
