We were hungry and it was about 6pm ..We had just left Ross' clothing shopping and I wanted something different but good..So, we saw the sign for Pollo Tropical...well hell, it's hard to miss a big yellow building too...lol!!!

Made good time today. Stopped just outside Nashville after some fine BBQ at Martin's Old Fashioned BBQ. 600 miles total. Missed most of the rain but the front is passing through now and saw some amazing lightning.
I read to Lori and only played a little country music.

We started heading south and saw a sign for the Carnton Plantation. We knew nothing about this place but thought it would be great to visit. We drove though a quiet neighborhood full of beautiful brick homes with large old trees ...
... rotunda for the members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. On the way out I was surprised to see Kelly Pickler's Dancing With the Stars Mirror Ball Trophy - It really is kind of tacky!
Finished our day by adding another Margaritaville to our list. This was one of the nicest one's we've visited, probably b/c it's new. Of course, being in Music CIty the live music was top notch! Busy, busy day but really fun!

I really enjoyed seeing all the rhinestone covered suits and dresses from all the old timers, Roy Rogers boots, they even had the corn field from Hee Haw and the outfits from all the characters on the show all lined up in the cornfield. They had a guitar from just about every country star through out the years and I even managed to find Charlie McCoy's (studio musician from the show the night before) Hall of Fame plaque I then sat and ...
