... re-created the Parthenon in Bicentennial Park. Why? I don't know and I don't think they do either. The guide was just busy telling us how good the building was.
We spent quite a bit of time in Bicentennial Park looking at the honour roll of fallen soldiers of Nashville from all wars. We were not allowed to photograph the names.

We were hungry and it was about 6pm ..We had just left Ross' clothing shopping and I wanted something different but good..So, we saw the sign for Pollo Tropical...well hell, it's hard to miss a big yellow building too...lol!!!

Made good time today. Stopped just outside Nashville after some fine BBQ at Martin's Old Fashioned BBQ. 600 miles total. Missed most of the rain but the front is passing through now and saw some amazing lightning.

... guy on the front desk was dressed like Elvis – presumably dressing up is part of the St. Patrick ’s Day thing around here – and he got us all set up. The room itself is decorated in brown and mustard yellow and has guitar cushions….it’s totally bizarre, but at the same time, pretty cool.
