... biters. There are several schools of thought for how to deal with types 2-4 using pepper spray. Some folks, such as the Swiss guy Patrick I met, would only spray a dog that is actively biting his person or equipment. I am closer to the other extreme, which is hitting any animal that enters with 6 foot effective range of the spray. The big danger being chased is not getting bit but rather a dog getting under your wheel and causing a crash or causing you ...

          ... zip lining.

Mega Cavern Mega Zips in Louisville is the "world's only fully underground zip line course" according the company, and that's where we headed. Our 7pm appointment called for us to get geared up to take on 6 zip lines in a two-hour time frame. Everyone was Ok except that Laneshia wasn't to sure about doing all 6 zip lines - plus the temperature was a steady 59 degrees in the cavern (refreshing from the 90+ degree heat, but cold for 2 constant hours). But ...

We are home!! We left Nashville around 10 and hit the road for a straight shot home. When you are at the end, you want to just get home. It's a mental thing. If we knew we had another stop, we'd be good with it but since we know its over, we want to just get home.

On the way, we stopped in Louisville at Churchill Downs. I have a ...

... to Louisville. The kids had a blast checking out the huge guitars and running around the front of the Opry house. 5:00, a potty break, and off we were again, ambitious? Yes! I have to say the kids were troopers, but were definitely growing anxious to throw in the towel for the night. We got to our hotel around 9:00, ate a late dinner, and crashed for the night. They were excited about the opportunity to visit the Louisville Slugger Museum the next ...
